What is IDO？

IDO, namely initial DOT offering, Polkatrain is expected to start IDO in Binance smart chain in the mid of late April 2021. All Polkadot projects can apply to participate in the IDO to obtain the support of funds and resources. The users who hold DOT and POLT and pass the whitelist audit can participate in the IDO of Polkadot projects to obtain the quota for participating in early projects. All POLT tokens participating in the auction will be burned to promote the value of PolT tokens.

Polkatrain will provide fixed interest rate, LBP which is liquid bootstrapping pool and over raising these three pools for Polkatrain projects. Only through the project voted by Polkatrain Committee and DAO community could IDO be launched by projects. Polkatrain only supports DOT for token sell. Before IDO, every user participating in needs to lock their own DOT in the smart contract. After IDO, the smart contract will obtain the token of the project according to the preset algorithm.
