The response for hacker attack incident from Polkatrain team

Around 3:00 a.m. UCT + 8 on April 5, 2021, the smart contract of Polkatrain was attacked by hackers during LBP auction, 57000 DOT were stolen in the contract and turned away. After this incident happened, the team was under great pressure, but in order to live up to the trust and support of angel investment agency, KOL and users, we have been actively dealing with the problem, and now we publish the solution to the all the users.

After the incident, the team immediately contacted BSC, Binance and security audit company to deal with tracking. There has established Polkatrain autonomous committee to jointly handle the incident and tide over the difficulties. At present, BSC team and Binance have assisted Polkatrain to trace the address and is in the process of recovery.

Polkatrain will certainly learn from this incident, comprehensively repair the bug, improve safety and risk control, and will launch V2.0 simultaneously during LP liquidity mining.

After this incident, the team will map a new token with the rate 1:1 in order to ensure the interests of all parties because many POLT with very low prices have entered the market.
